When her second daughter Gwyneth died suddenly on her due date in 2015, Ash poured herself into researching fertility, attempting to understand the how and why of her tragic stillbirth. She longed to have another child but realized she didn't know how her female reproductive system really worked - at almost 30 years old!

​

Ash studied fertility awareness and meticulously practiced this method herself, making eye-opening discoveries about the female body during pregnancy, loss, postpartum, and beyond. She has been fortunate to give birth to 4 live babies following her stillbirth, with the knowledge she gathered and put into action in her life.

Over the years she confirmed that the cervix is vital to female fertility! Tracking it’s movements makes fertility awareness and natural family planning much more accurate and reliable. She just had to write The Cervical Solution to let women know all the secrets she’s gathered to make understanding your body nearly foolproof!

The Pursuit of Fertility aims to combine individual fertility coaching and education, along with perinatal bereavement support from someone who “gets” what you’re going through when it comes to trying to conceive, get through pregnancy, or heal from a traumatic child loss.

Ash resides with her husband and five children in Greenville, South Carolina. When she’s not obsessing over menstrual cycles, you can find her wiping toddler butts, painting walls, drinking hot tea with cream, teaching homeschool lessons, laughing with her nine siblings, or getting dragged out of a thrift shop by her husband!
